Ren Qing Handmade Tibetan Incense Sticks

Red Relief (For Purification)
Avoid filth and purify. Clear the room energy field, purify the human body's magnetic field chakra, and heal the body and mind. Corresponds to the Southern Suzaku. Xingyan contains a special kind of grass that humans cannot find, so they need to rely on the guidance of animals: there is a kind of bird that sings in the rainy season. Find the nest of this bird, make sure there are eggs in the nest, dip a piece of hair in ink and draw a line on the egg. After the bird returns to the nest, it mistakenly thinks the egg is cracked, so it will pick up a kind of grass and put it on the egg. After the bird flies away, it will take the grass as one of the raw materials for incense. This herb has a great effect in healing wounds. Wounds or inflammations in the human body's internal organs or skin can be healed.

Ren Qing says: “Always smile when you’re gathering medicinal plants from the mountains. When you smile, the plants will smile back.”

With his bare hands, each year Ren Qing creates 3,000 boxes of Tibetan incense over the two months when the climate is most favourable. This is Ren Qing‘s craft, as well as his livelihood.

Plants in the mountains grow and follow nature, free from any intervention by humans. Every autumn in October, Ren Qing gathers medicinal plants from his hometown, Ngawa in Sichuan. Every year in May when spring is giving way to summer, the frigid winter in Tibet begins to ease off, which is the best time for gathering medicinal plants.

As with sunrise and sunset, Ren Qing’s incense follows the climate circle in Tibet and greets us once every year.
